Hi! My name is Capri, or as some of you nay know Capri Creationss. I am 23 years old and I was born and raised in Washington DC and moved to Maryland in 2015. I graduated from Dr. Henry A Wise High School and I am currently a healthcare worker and a baker (obviously) while studying criminal justice. When I am not baking my favorite thing to do is watch a good Netflix series and relax. Yep you guessed it I’m a virgo. Some of you may know I have many talents that include drawing, writing, dance, boxing, piano, saxophone, softball, acting and more! But I think we can take a guess on what stuck to me the most! FOOD!
How it started.
In November of 2018 I was in a car accident that felt like it changed my entire life. I struggled with PTSD and anxiety during this time. I was stuck in the house not working or moving. It drove me insane! I had to find something to do. I first made a no bake Oreo cheesecake. Then apple pie bombs and sweet potato pies. I had so much fun making quick and easy desserts but had no intentions of started a business. I would send pictures to my friends who would respond asking “how much?” I was so confused being that I was baking to pass the time. It wasn’t until I started my internship for medical billing and coding in 2019 that I thought I might be able to do this. I started Capri Creationss on Instagram making dinner plates. People loved my Chicken pasta and chicken tenders but making plates did not fit my schedule. I eventually moved to desserts which was a huge success but I still had a few customers that were missing a Capri Creationss chicken and waffles platter and that’s when I decided to offer catering services. From there on out I became Capri Creationss Catering and Cakes.
